Simply pull the straps tight and attach the Velcro to any
part of the exposed strap. The Velcro will adhere to the entire length of
the strap material, so you can attach it anywhere you need it.
Yes, one size fits all. If you are using the straps
on a smaller leg, just attach the strap where you would like it and then trip
the excess material with a scissors. The same concept applies when using
the straps for biking or other sports where you don't have shin pads on.
Some people like to have two pair to really secure the
shin pads down tight (one up high on the shins and one just above the ankle).
One strap works great as well.
